The West of England LEADER programme has re-opened for applications for grants from rural businesses and communities across North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset.
Announcing the new call for projects at the 157th North Somerset Show, Chris Head from the LEADER Programme said; “This funding scheme is designed for rural businesses and communities who are often overlooked by their urban neighbours. It is therefore fitting that we should be launching this call at the main Agricultural and Rural event held in the West of England.”
Eligible businesses and communities can apply for grants for capital projects to help support their growth and sustainability. Applications for investments from £10,000 up to £100,000 can now be made.
Graham Clark from the Country Land & Business Association (CLA) and Chair of the Local Action Group added; “Following our first call, earlier this year, we want to continue to work with local businesses and communities to support their growth and I would encourage them to get in touch to find out how we can help.”
If you are a rural business or community organisation and think this might help you contact us to make an initial enquiry. This second call for outline applications closes on Monday 11th July 2016.
